The Tyden metal strap seal is versatile. In particular, it is used to secure TIR cable end pieces of tarpaulin trucks, box trucks, railway wagons, tankers and containers as well as boxes and other packages. In conjunction with the Bednorz extension, which can be cut to any length, sealing openings that are spaced as far apart as desired can be connected; and with its significantly smaller width and thickness, the Bednorz extension can also serve as an "adapter" if the sealing openings are too small for the Tyden Seal.
The Tyden seal is made of tin-plated sheet steel and, with its band thickness: of 0.3 mm, is suitable for very narrow sealing openings. To close the seal, the end of the sealing band is inserted into the locking mechanism in the spherical seal body until it clicks into place. This creates a ring with a fixed diameter. A click is heard when the Tyden seal engages.
By default, it is marked by imprinting a letter and a 6-digit sequential number. This can be supplemented by a short text of max. 16 characters (see above the tab "Individual").
To remove the plomb, you will hear a click.
A side cutter is required to remove the seal.
