Series 500 Quarter turn fastener

Quarter turn lock for electric and electronic devices as well as for the manufacturing of devices and vehicles to mount casings, drawers and inspection hatches. Available with slot head, cross recess head, plastic or steel knurled head, and star-shaped grip.

Function:
Through the quarter turn, the inserted bolt with axle will be tightened against the curve in the lower part, axial against the spring. At the end of the curve, the axle will lock.

Assembly:
A 12.2 mm hole will be drilled through the sheet metal casing; the locking bolt with spring retainer will then be pushed through and secured on the backside with a snap ring. To affix the lower part, a center hole with a 16 mm diameter and two mounting holes will be drilled according to the lower part's hole pattern. Screws, rivets or spot-welding can be used for mounting.
