Series 410 Quarter turn fastener

Quarter turn fasteners for small electric and electronic devices and casings. Can be found on switching cabinets, computers and copy machines. Available with slot head, cross recess head, knurled head, star grip and featuring a protruding or flush spring retainer.

Function:
Through the quarter turn, the inserted bolt with shaft will be tightened against the curve in the lower part, axial against the spring. At the end of the curve, the shaft will lock.

Assembly:
An 8 mm hole will be drilled through the sheet metal cover. When using a flush spring retainer, a 100° counter sunk will be created by drilling or pressing; the locking bolt with spring retainer will be pushed through and secured on the backside with the holding disk. To affix the lower part, a center hole with a 13 mm diameter and two mounting holes will be drilled according to the lower part's hole pattern. Screws or rivets can be used to hold it in place.
