The Bednorz seal is particularly used for securing TIR cable ends on curtain-sided trucks, box trucks, rail wagons, tankers, containers, as well as crates and other packages. It is extremely versatile.

This metal strap seal, developed by us, is made of matt galvanized steel and certified to ISO/PAS 17712:2013. Its design ensures high tamper resistance. The main body is made from a single piece, preventing disassembly and reassembly.

To close the seal, the strap end is bent forward and inserted into the oval opening with the pin. Both parts of the seal head must be pressed together until a clear “click” is heard. Once closed, the integrity can be checked by moving the strap. The Bednorz seal’s locking mechanism leaves no gap for any tools, making undetectable manual opening impossible. The raised edge provides additional protection for the closed seal (see the instructions for applying and inspecting the Bednorz seal).

When used with the adjustable-length Bednorz extension, widely spaced sealing points can be connected. Its significantly smaller width and thickness also allow it to serve as an “adapter” when the sealing points are too small for the standard Bednorz seal.

The standard marking of the Bednorz seal includes a letter and a sequential 7-digit number. On request, an additional text of up to 17 characters (including spaces) can be embossed. Alternatively, a barcode or DataMatrix code can be applied via laser marking.

A side cutter is required to remove the seal.
