The Cable Seal LXR is a heavy duty cable seal, produced in the United States by Red Flag. it is built with a well-engineered locking mechanism and provides the highest level of tampering resistance. The Cable Seal LXR is certified 'H' High Security according to ISO PAS 17712:2013/C-TPAT.

The Customs version – identical in construction – is tested and approved by the German Customs Authority as a ‘seal of a special type’, having passed the strict standards and tests is a mark of the quality this seal provides.

The seal is marked with a prefix and a 7-digit consecutive number by default. Upon request, additional text, a logo, barcode or DataMatrix code can be attached by laser inscription.

To complement your transport chain’s security, the Cable Seal LXR can seamlessly be integrated into Red Flag’s Security Transit Management (STM) platform – just like the identically constructed customs version BC-Cable Seal LXR - Customs Seal.

Red Flag’s Security Transit Management (STM) platform is a cloud-based software which provides three essential functionalities:

• Manages transportation data alongside security seals and protocols

• Brings all transport data to one place

• Employs predictive analytics to routinely identify vulnerabilities and weak spots within the transportation supply chain. Active and prolonged STM use improves predictive alerting.

Alleviation of raising transport data:

Due to its flexible technology, both consignor and consignee can be integrated in the STM supply chain. All seal numbers are gathered in the STM platform and assigned to the respective cargo prior to shipment. All parties involved may define both predetermined and/or spontaneous checkpoints. Relevant transport data may be recorded with common mobile devices like a smartphone, handheld computer, or laptop. According to the respective assignment, consignor and/or consignee will have to review: who is controlling which seal and properly assigned cargo, and when and where. And: what is the check’s result – are seal and cargo okay or tampered? Any abnormality can trigger automatic alerts as needed.

Consolidation of transport data:

All transport data you collected via the STM platform will automatically be consolidated and stored on Red Flag’s secure cloud servers, facilitating data security as well as data analysis. Integration through API is available and can streamline both data entry and consolidation.

Analysis of weak spots / hot spots in your transport chain:

The more frequently the platform is used, the better the relevant information, or knowledge, Red Flag’s sophisticated filtering technology can generate. The questions of who breaches your supply chain, where security hot spots are occurring, and where your procedures breakdown, can help you determine the best allocation of security resources.

Bottom line:

When implemented correctly, the STM platform enables you to create your own customized supply chain with complete chain of custody records for every shipment – including your upstream and downstream partners. A well-integrated STM implementation has been proven to combat against loss, theft, and smuggling. The result is better allocation of security resources, timely and complete shipments to customers, and an increase in credibility with customs.
