The Tyden Customs Seal is licensed as the official customs seal in Germany and provides security across a wide range of applications. It is especially suited to secure of the end fittings of TIR wires of tilt trucks tilt trucks, box trucks, railway cars, tank trucks and containers as well as boxes and other packing units.
| The construction and function of this seal is similar to the metal strap seal Tyden Ballseal whereby the head of the customs seal is always of green colour.
It is always marked with "Zoll D" as well as a 6-digit serial number. The Tyden Customs Seal is made of zinc-plated metal sheet. The diameter of the seal strap of 0.3 mm makes this seal suitable for applications with small sealing apertures.
To apply, feed the seal strap through the locking mechanism of the ball-shaped lock body. It snaps with a click, creating a fixed length loop.
The Tyden Customs Seal can be removed with a wire cutter.
If the sealing openings are wide apart, the Tyden Customs Seal can be used in combination with the Tyden Tie. |
